Sadly this is the only screenshot available right now. Still, that won’t keep us from analyzing it. What the hell is wrong with that guy’s (or girl’s?) face. He looks pretty pissed off probably because he’s stuck in this dated-looking game. Seriously, though. Oblivion’s graphics looks so much better compared to this and that game is over six years old!
What’s more is the whole idea of being stuck in a role. If you’re going to play an MMORPG, typically you’re going to be stuck in the class that you start off with with very little variation in the end game. Elder Scrolls is known for literally letting you be anything you fricken wanted, so how are they going to implement that into a game where there are set roles needed to work in a party?
But that’s just my opinion. I’m sure there is a good reason for The Elder Scrolls to move into the MMO world. But that’s a risky step considering the fact that the WoW juggernaut is still… STILL at the top of the pedestel. Ten years running, about. Even SWTOR is struggling keeping its customers. So to TES, let’s just hope they manage to do something right in their MMO and somehow keep that open world feel to it.
