The Elder Scrolls Online: First Screenshot

Sadly this is the only screenshot available right now. Still, that won’t keep us from analyzing it. What the hell is wrong with that guy’s (or girl’s?) face. He looks pretty pissed off probably because he’s stuck in this dated-looking game. Seriously, though. Oblivion’s graphics looks so much better compared to this and that game is over six years old!

What’s more is the whole idea of being stuck in a role. If you’re going to play an MMORPG, typically you’re going to be stuck in the class that you start off with with very little variation in the end game. Elder Scrolls is known for literally letting you be anything you fricken wanted, so how are they going to implement that into a game where there are set roles needed to work in a party?

But that’s just my opinion. I’m sure there is a good reason for The Elder Scrolls to move into the MMO world. But that’s a risky step considering the fact that the WoW juggernaut is still… STILL at the top of the pedestel. Ten years running, about. Even SWTOR is struggling keeping its customers. So to TES, let’s just hope they manage to do something right in their MMO and somehow keep that open world feel to it.

Skyrim: “I Took An Arrow In The Knee” Explained

This is a meme that most people who have not played Skyrim are probably wondering about. Essentially it boils down to this some of the guards in Skyrim state: “I used to be an adventurer like you, then I took an arrow in the knee.”, and that’s about the jest of it. It has now became a meme that is taking over the internet. It’s funny what blows up online. In any case check out the video below it’s very funny.

Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Review

From the moment I saw Bethesda’s Skryim at the E3 conference I was blown away. The world is dynamic, the characters are intriguing, and the overall gameplay is just fantastic.

The World

Skyrim does so much right, first the world of Skyrim is amazing to look at, you will lose countless hours just exploring it all. This is a game that makes the world feel very real. Much like the first time many of us played Ocarina of Time as a kid. The world will come to life around you.  Bethesda does so much right in the world itself it is hard to find flaws, besides the occasional bugs here and there, Skyrim is fantastic.

Fighting with the dragons of Skyrim will keep your heart rate elevated and always have you guessing. Even though sometimes they pull the same bullshit moves over and over it’s still will have you trying out different tactics to combat your foes. This brings me to my next point: hand to hand combat is “okay” it is a lot like Oblivion with a couple upgrades. But the new magic powers and dragon shouts will allow you to mix up tactics to take down your enemies. It’s enough to distract you from the imperfect combat.  They have managed to at least keep it fun for the player consistently.

Looting & Menus

Looting is damn terrific in Skyrim, this is a game where the more you explore the far more you gain.  I suggest spending hours just looking around the land of Skyrim, this will help you level up and earn more abilities. Watch out for the bears though they can be a real doozy. Also keeping track of your loot is awesome. The menus got a serious overhaul that was needed.  Skyrim has so much to offer it’s hard to put into words, it is by far the best RPG of this year and I suggest you get yourself a copy.

We give it an….A BITCHES

Mini Rage Review!

Alright, so I picked up this game yesterday, and the first thing I noticed when i started to play is how clean the graphics are. The intro cut scene made me wonder if I had just bought a movie instead of a game. The story is really enjoyable and interesting. As far as I have gotten so far in the game it is pretty pretty bad ass! So much killing, road rage, and racing you can’t handle yourself. Also on the “first” level of the game their is an easter egg. It is the Wolfenstien room. Two more easter eggs are they have Doom and Quake cameo’s as well.

All in all this is game is one of THE best out right now!

I give it a 4.8 of 5 because their is a few little glitches here and there, but I mean it just came out so they won’t have any bug updates yet
