Thanks to me I am going to put an end to the age old debate about which game is better Mega Jump or Doddle jump on the Iphone/Itouch.

I own both Doodle Jump and Mega Jump on my Iphone4 and yes I completed both games all the way through(although doodle jump doesn’t have shit to do besides get a high score). I used to be a hardcore Doodle Jump fan as well as one of the first to download it off the app store. Every time my friends started playing Mega Jump I would call them idiots for buying the Doodle Jump knockoff. I finally decided to play Mega Jump one day out of spite, little did I know I would begin to like Mega Jump, this pissed me off because they were right. I now play both Mega Jump and Doodle Jump but the question is which one is better?

Lets put it this way Doodle Jump is a good game but there is not much to do besides jump on shit and shoot weird looking space creatures who make weird noises. The object is to jump really high and get a high score….that’s about it. Sure there is a rocket pack but I mean its not super exciting once you obtain it. You just watch your little green poop creature remain lifeless as the rocket shoots up its really dull. As for the “updates” and “new levels” they do once a month, to clear that up those are just fucking skins. Seriously we know its the same game just because it looks like my character is under water does not mean that this is some new underwater game. It just means that you tricked some dumb ass people into thinking they got a whole new game for free. Here is a similar conversation- man says to his wife, “Hey honey you see this game Doodle Jump it gave me an underwater new game for free!” wife, “That’s great honey now I am going to put on a wig and its gonna be like fucking a new girl!”. Mother fucker I know that shit is still the same game you are not going to fool me! So this is a message to the developers of Doodle Jump, you want to really make an update try making a side scroll Mario like game where you complete levels and do different shit. Then and only then I will be excited for one of your shitty updates!

Mega Jump is a different story I just received an update for the game about a week ago and they included level selection, new power ups, and new characters to choose from. Level selection in Mega Jump means you can not only change the skins in the background but also each level the dynamic of game changes as well. Which obviously the higher you go the harder the game gets and different platforms appear. In Mega Jump when you get a rocket your little creature starts screaming as if he is giving birth to a poop baby, it is quite entertaining. Also there are different power ups to grab like an umbrella to make you fall slower and a magnet so you can collect coins without being near them. The purpose of Mega Jump is to collect coins and also reach a high score. The more coins you collect the more different things you can unlock in the game menu which include characters, wallpapers, and new powers ups. Which brings me to my Mega Jump biggest peeve(That’s what she said!), its really fucking hard to collect enough coins to unlock shit and they make it difficult so you use real money to buy coins off the app store. Now one thing I really hate is a game that makes you try and buy shit after you BOUGHT THE GAME! This being said it still is not impossible to unlock characters and power ups so its not that big of a deal but is still annoying as fuck.

So winner is……. Mega Jump! Mega Jump is just a lot more fun, not that Doodle Jump is a bad game but Mega Jump just stole their idea and breathed life into it.  For more secrets and information on Mega Jump Click Here.
